Assurance You can rest assured that we provide the most secure Chain-of-Custody of any shredder in Eastern Iowa.  There is no risk of your material ending up in the hands of an unknown third-party.  Strictly following National Association for Information Destruction guidelines, we keep the chain-of-custody limited to you, Document Destruction and Recycling Services (DDRS), and the paper-pulping mill where your shredded material is ultimately pulped and recycled into new paper toweling products.

 

Compliance  We'll help keep you in compliance with the law.  Laws and regulations are always changing.  DDRS is a Nationally Certified Member of the National Association for Information Destruction (NAID).  NAID is the international trade association for companies providing information destruction services.  Their mission is to promote the information destruction industry and the standards and ethics of its member companies.  NAID provides DDRS the most up-to-date information and tools designed to help us help you stay in compliance with new laws and regulations such as the FACTA Red-Flag Rule and HIPAA/HITECH provisions.  For more information go to: www.naidonline.org.

 

Protection  We've got you (and your customers) covered!  A DDRS shredding program is the most affordable and best insurance policy you can own for protecting your business.  Document Destruction and Recycling Services employees are bonded, and DDRS carries an aggregate liability policy of $5,000,000, plus we carry an additional $1,000,000 professional liability policy specifically crafted for the information destruction industry to cover all claims related to a security breach.  In 13 years of doing business, we've never had a security breach claim - that's a record you can trust.

Flexibility  Pick a schedule that works for you.  DDRS will customize a collection schedule to meet your needs.  We offer scheduled collections on a daily basis on up to every other month and any time in between.  Do you only need to purge records once a year?  Just give us a call!  We’ll help make light work of cleaning out those old files! 

 

Convenience  Three Iowa locations to better serve you.  We have facilities in Altoona, Cedar Rapids, and Davenport.  If you need shredding services at multiple locations in Central Iowa, Eastern Iowa, or Western Illinois, we can take care of it.
